Essential Oils for Adrenal Fatigue

It is also a good idea to dilute these oils with coconut oil before application to the skin.

Other Natural Remedies for Adrenal Fatigue

Though the use of essential oils for adrenal fatigue can markedly improve your symptoms, there are other natural remedies which are very effective.

1. Recommended Diet

You have to eat right to beat adrenal fatigue and it can be done by observing following tips:

  • Avoid the foods which put stress on adrenal glands and increase inflammation in the body. Cut down refined sugar, legumes, vegetable oil and grains. 
  • Eat small frequent meals and never skip a meal.
  • Eat a high protein breakfast, and keep carbohydrate intake minimum in the morning.
  • Monitor your fluid intake. Too much fluid can affect adrenal glands.
  • You can have good fats like egg yolk, grass fed butter, ghee and coconut oil. Avocado and olive oil can also be taken but stay away from all other plant based oils, nuts and seeds.
  • Try to get at least 20% of the total calories from carbohydrates from fresh fruit and vegetables.
  • Caffeine and alcohol must be avoided.

  • Adrenal Glandular: Ancient medicine claims that consuming small amounts of adrenal glands of other animals can boost your own adrenal glands. You need to be very careful to choose the right product from an authentic source and do not take in large quantities.
  • Vitamin C: Vitamin C is good for adrenal fatigue symptoms. There is a variety of vitamin C supplements available in the market. Try to choose the one which is plant-based.
  • Pastured Beef, Chicken or Pork Liver: Pastured liver is nutrient-rich and has Vitamin A which helps to boost adrenal glands.

3. Lifestyle Changes

  • Have a fixed time to go to bed, preferably at 10 p.m. and follow it every day.
