Homeopathic Medicine for Piles

Piles are also known as hemorrhoids which affect both men and women. There are internal piles and external piles. Internal piles occur in the rectum while external piles occur around the anus. Bright red blood covering or accompanying the stool is a sign of the presence of internal hemorrhoids. External hemorrhoids present with a hard lump or painful swellings around the anus. 2.     Nux Vomica

Nux vomica is an effective homeopathic medicine for piles associated with constipation. A patient suffering from such piles will experience an urge to empty the bowels, but usually pass little if any stool. The piles are more common in people who lead sedentary lifestyles.

3.     Hamamelis

Hamamelis is recommended for treatment of bleeding piles. Sore, burning rectum accompanied by bleeding and weakness is the sign of bleeding piles. It is also used in the treatment for congested veins and bleeding in the rest of the body.

4.     Ratanhia

Rantanhia is recommended for cases involving burning pain that lasts for hours following bowel movement. The patient is constipated and only passes hard stool after a lot of struggle. Due to swollen mucous membranes in the anus, the patient undergoes a lot of pain when defecating.

7.     Arsenicum Album

The patient usually experiences stitching pain when seated or walking, which is worse at night and may cause a hard time sleeping. Causticum is homeopathic medicine for piles that are large, swollen and hard. They may block passage of stool. Such hemorrhoids are associated with burning, stitching and stinging pain that can be so severe that the patient may find it difficult to stand, sit or walk. The affected area is also extremely painful to touch. 

9.     Nitric Acidum
