Cheerios Recipes
1. Chocolate and Vanilla Pudding Parfait with Cheerios
Ingredients
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 2 cups prepared instant chocolate pudding
- ½ cups honey nut cheerios
- 2 cups prepared instant vanilla pudding
Instructions
- Beat the sugar and heavy cream until it reaches a thick consistency and place it in a piping bag and refrigerate.
- Place a layer of chocolate pudding and a layer of cheerios in 4 small containers.
- Add a layer of vanilla pudding on top followed by another layer of cheerios.
- Garnish with the heavy whipped cream and sprinkle a few cheerios on top.
- Refrigerate for 3 hours before serving.
2. Gluten-Free Cheerios Caramel Crisp Cereal Bars
Ingredients
- 6 cups cheerios
- 14 oz gluten-free caramels
- 3 tbsp water
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
- ¼ cup gluten-free chocolate coated candies for baking
Chocolate Glaze:
- ¼ cup milk chocolate chips
- 2 tsp shortening
Instructions
- Butter a large 13x9 inch pan.
- In a bowl add caramels and water and microwave on high for 2-3 minutes, stirring after every minute, until smooth.
- Mix cereal and marshmallows into bowl and stir until coated.
- Press mixture into pan and flatten.
- In a bowl microwave the glaze ingredients until the mixture is smooth and then drizzle over the mixture.
- Sprinkle candies over the mixture and refrigerate until mixture is set.
- Cut into 9x4 rows to make individual bars.
